Every Wednesday at The Beloved Hotel Playa Mujeres beach we show you how to prepare Paella and Sangria. We want to share that recipe with you here as well. Enjoy it!
• Pre – Cooked rice for Paella
• Olive oil
• Diced Red pepper
• Diced Green pepper
• Squid (rings)
• Black mussel
• Grouper fish
• Asparagus and yellow pepper skinned to decorate
• Fish Stock (Grouper fish, onion in pieces, 5 cloves of garlic, leek, sliced carrot, bay leaves and rock salt boiled 20 minutes and strained).
Add olive oil to the pan (paella) to heat, add the peppers and skipped a bit. Add the shrimp, scallops, and the squid at this moment not the fish. Sauté all the ingredients and then add the garlic and the tomato, add the rice, move to mix but not too much, then add the saffron, add the fish broth and at the end the fish.
Once that the rice absorbs most of the broth, turn down heat cover the paella with aluminum foil for a proper cooking for about 15 minutes; Remove the aluminum foil and enjoy it!
